Areas for Improvement
The old SmartPlate website was mostly hardcoded on Shopify which made things tough to edit on the fly and when changes needed to be made needed to work with developer which made updates expensive. In addition to being tricky to update, the old SmartPlate website had numerous apps to add functionality which slowed things down and created headaches for ongoing maintenance.
Our solutions
To get SmartPlate dialed in with a unique online experience, we created a customer journey that started on Webflow then used a Shopify backend so we could have a more sophisticated backend with customer and inventory management. The new Webflow marketing site also features a very tech-oriented design with branded graphics and custom interactions as well and numerous landing pages for ads and email marketing.
