The old Revitin website had numerous errors throughout the store, however, because it was mostly hard coded and non-editable without writing liquid, making updates without a developer was nearly impossible. In addition to the errors, the old Revitin website was also missing lots of value propositions and product information that was absolutely crucial for educating customers on why they needed Revitin.
Before we designed a single section, the 253 Media team went deep into defining Revitin's positioning in the market so we could determine the exact strategy we needed to create on the store to boost conversions and brand trust. Knowing that Revitin has leaned heavily on retail for most of its lifecycle, our goal was to build a Shopify Plus store that was highly scalable and buildable to support new ad and email campaigns as well as future product releases. By focusing heavily on product education and unique selling propositions, we were able to create an experience that focused more on cold, direct to consumer traffic rather than primarily on wholesale buyers.
