As Hydra rapidly grew in the consulting space, their vision changed which led to branding and positioning change that weren't reflected on their old site, so it was time for a revamp! The old site was very templated, did not have a clear offer, and didn't have any operations integrations, so there was quite a bit of manual labor needed to organize data. In addition, the old site didn't have a strong SEO foundation and it didn't have a resource center for potential clients to learn more.
Because Hydra operates in a creative industry, we knew we needed to design an experience that was both memorable and simple. Hydra is a very numbers-driven company rather than a creative studio like their clients, so our biggest goal was to create a design people would want to scroll through while taking the time to digest the content on the site. The new Hydra site has numerous user interactions throughout the site and the copy throughout the site is broken up and easy to read. Lastly, the Hydra site also laid the framework for their ongoing SEO and newsletter strategy with a blog and newsletter popup.
The key features of the new Hydra site include a user-interactive background, CRM and newsletter integrations with forms, a client-first design system for easy ongoing website growth, and most importantly, a foundation for future growth. Overtime we will be adding new pages and content to the Hydra site to build more value for users and increase SEO rankings.
